ICACIT is an accrediting agency specialized in a professional training program in computer science, engineering and engineering technology. ICACIT promotes the continuous improvement of the educational quality of the programs, ensuring that they meet the highest international standards that ensure that graduates are ready to practice their profession.

ICACIT is the first Latin American agency admitted as a member of the Washington Accord, an agreement among the most prestigious engineering accreditation agencies in the world.

ICACIT is made up of five professional and business societies: the Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú (CIP), the National Confederation of Private Business Institutions (CONFIEP), the Peruvian Association of Software Developers (APESOF), the Peruvian Academy of Engineering (API) and the Peruvian Section of the IEEE, who work hand in hand to improve the quality of computing, engineering and engineering technology professionals in order to satisfy the demand for qualified professionals in the country and in the world.
