El 9° International Symposium on Accreditation of Engineering and Computing Education - ICACIT is the most important educational quality and accreditation event in Latin America. A space to share knowledge and experiences in accreditation, education and continuous quality improvement among professionals from academia, industry and government.
The event will be held in blended modality.
 
ICACIT, the accrediting agency specialized in Computing, Engineering, Technology in Engineering, Science and Architecture programs, has 20 years promoting continuous improvement of educational quality in higher education programs, it is the first Latin American agency to signatory of the Washington Accord and a member of the European Network for Accreditation in Engineering Education - ENAEE, accords that bring together the most prestigious engineering accreditation agencies in the world.
 

Topics of Interest
Papers in all areas on accreditation and education in engineering and computing are invited with a particular emphasis on:
 
  1. Quality Assurance and Accreditation.
  2. Teaching and Learning in Engineering and Computing Education.
  3. Students and Professors’ relationship with industry, government, society and academia.
  4. Students, professors and associated services.
  5. Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

As the only capital city in the Americas located on the seashore, Lima is populous (more than 10 million inhabitants) and is full of places of interest and restaurants of international fame. The official language is English, the papers must be presented in PDF and have between 04 to 06 pages following the IEEE format for conferences, available at:

Publication and Indexation
All papers in English accepted and registered at ICACIT Symposium 2023 will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to the IEEE Xplore®. Content loaded into IEEE Xplore® is made available to its abstracting and indexing partners, including Elsevier (Scopus) and others, for potential inclusion in their respective databases.
